Asheville-Outdoors.com is the product of a student joint technology project. This project focuses on combining established and emerging technologies to create a website that promotes the diverse outdoor activities available in the Asheville and Western North Carolina area. Special focus is devoted to the use of open source software, data, and services. Asheville-Outdoors seeks to be an interactive site. The developers wish to encourage it's participant to participate in the expansion of this site and its content through collaborative participation. Users wishing to submit additions to our site are encouraged to submit data, in a GPS format with an explanation of the data, to The Webmaster.
